DAY 1: SAIGON – SIEM REAP (--/L/D)
Today we transfer to the airport for the departure flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrive at Siem Reap International Airport you will be welcomed by tour guide and transferred to local restaurant for lunch.
Afternoon we do excursion to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers South of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Dinner will be served at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Siemreap.
DAY 2: SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we start a tour visiting Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravaraman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmer classical art. Preah Ko, erected by Indavaraman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880- Bakhong, the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance Lolei, the four brick towers are replicas of the ones at Preah Kho, built on an islet in the center of large reservoir by Yasovarman I the founder of the first city of Angkor. Lunch will be at local restaurant.
Continue to visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk) the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the late afternoon, you will walk to the top of Phnom Bakheng to view the amazing sunset over Angkor Wat and other surrounding ruins. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant whilst watching a traditional Apsara Dance show. Overnight at hotel in Siemreap.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREY (B/L/D)
Have breakfast at hotel. We visit Banteay Srei, the beautiful ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 37 km from Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia's last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered. After that, we visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the 7th world heritage, Angkor Wat a unique and stunning blend of spirituality and symmetry, an enduring example of man's devotion to his Gods. It is the largest and undoubtedly the most breath taking of the monuments of Angkor and it is widely believed that it is the largest religious structure in the world. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Siemreap.
DAY 4: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B/--/--)
In the morning, visit Les Artisans D’Angkor seeing their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques. Continue to visit the Old Market where you can see the fresh local produce being sold as well as browse the souvenir stalls. Then transferred to the airport for your next flight.
